Registration is made through an online registration system provided by Berg Hansen travel agency.

The deadline for booking hotels through us has passed, but there are still plenty of rooms available at the conference hotels and in Oslo in general - you just have to book it yourself (see the Accommodation & Travel page for more info).

We have 1 hotel room left that are still reserved for us in the conference hotels (at a fixed price of ~1350 NOK per night) so if you want us to reserve this hotel room for you then please email us at euclid2022@astro.uio.no after registering and let us know the dates you want.

Help to students with little funding

If you are a graduate student and want to attend the 2022 Euclid Consortium Meeting, but are unable to get the registration fee funded by your institution or funding agency, we have a possibility of waiving part of your registration fee for a limited number of students. This is thanks to sponsoring from ESA. If that is your situation, please send an application for waiver, briefly detailing how your thesis project would benefit from attending the Consortium Meeting, what your funding situation is and how large part of the registration fee you can get funded. The application must have endorsement by your supervisor. Send the application to euclid2022@astro.uio.no Note that you can also send an application if you already have signed up and paid the conference fee (we can refund).

Flash Talk Registration

We are introducing the new Early Career Researcher Flash Talk sessions during the 2022 EC Annual Meeting. These will be scheduled during Plenary sessions, with the aim to provide visibility to the EC early career researchers, allowing them to advertise their work to the entire Consortium. The talks will not exceed 3 minutes, and slides will be collected by the ECC ahead of the session.

In order to organize this event and make it as smooth as possible, we are asking any EC Early career researcher interested in this opportunity to register as soon as possible (see link below). Please note that we might not be able to accommodate everyone, but we will do our best and come back to all of you in due time.

Important dates

  • Registration form opens: 1 March 2022
  • Block-booking of hotel rooms: small number of rooms still available until 9 March
  • End of early registration (in person): 9 March
  • End of normal registration (in person): 1 April
  • Program draft available: 7 April
  • Late registration deadline (in person): 19 April
  • Registration deadline for online: 25 April

Fees

  • Early bird registration fee (in person; before 9 March): 400 Euro (VAT included)
  • Normal registration fee (in person; before 1 April): 450 Euro (VAT included)
  • Late registration fee (in person; before 19 April): 500 Euro (VAT included)
  • Registration fee (online): 100 Euro + VAT = 125 Euro

The registration fee include the following

  • the full conference (Tuesday to Friday);
  • coffee breaks (Tuesday to Friday);
  • the lunch buffet (Tuesday to Friday);
  • the City of Oslo reception (Tuesday);
  • a conference bag.

Payment and confirmation

Full payment of the registration fee is to be made prior to the congress in euros (EUR). When registering online, you will receive instant confirmation of successful registration to your email.

Payment options

At the end of the registration form, you will be given three alternatives for payment:

  1. Credit card payments will be dealt automatically. Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard are accepted.
  2. Invoice as an e-mail attachment. You will receive an invoice to your email and you can print it out for your files. This will have your reference number and the bank details for payment.

Confirmation of participation

During the registration process, you will receive two messages:

  1. An automatic reply after successful submission of the registration form.
  2. A final participation confirmation letter stating that your registration has been paid and is therefore confirmed.

Please note that a participation confirmation letter will be sent when full payment has been received.

Cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellations or changes to registration must be made in writing to Berg Hansen by e-mail: krjo@berg-hansen.no

Cancellation of in-person ticket received by 19 April: the ticket will be converted to an online ticket and you will get back the difference.

Please note that no-show does not constitute cancellation. In case of no-show, the registration fee will not be refunded.
