Early results from Planck

The first Planck results hit the archive on January 11th this year. I will review the main points from this release, and to minimize the effort needed to do so, I will shamelessly steal Jo Dunkley's very nice slides summarizing this release. In short, it contains useful information on the Planck instruments and data processing; SZ and other point sources; spinning dust, CO and dark dust emission; correlated structures in the infrared background; and -- somewhat annoyingly -- cosmic rays..
