Cosmology seminar: Yabebal Tadesse Fantaye: Polarized foregrounds and gravitational lensing of the CMB

Yabebal Tadesse Fantaye is a post doc working with Frode.

In this talk I will overview the physics of CMB lensing, its effect in
the CMB maps, and the algorithm (quadratic estimator) used to
reconstruct convergence maps. I will then present the challenges paused
by polarized foregrounds in the lensing field reconstruction from
balloon-born (EBEX like) CMB polarization experiments.
