Cosmology seminar: Florian Kühnel

Florian Kühnel is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oskar Klein Centre for Cosmoparticle Physics at Stockholm University in Sweden.

Aspects of Emergence of Gravity and Geometry

I will give an introduction to recent ideas to understand geometry, on the quantum level, as Bose-Einstein condensates of gravitons. Starting from black holes, and then passing to cosmology, I will show how various known characteristics elegantly emerge, and which novel and distinct features are expected. Regarding cosmology, I will also bridge to analogue gravity where I will present a model with naturally suppressed cosmological constant.
