Downtime on the computer system June 27. to 30. 2024.

Status:

01.07.24, 20:00 We are done. IDL is up with all licenses and all nodes and workstations are up.

01.07.24, 09:10 IDL is working again, but with reduced number of licenses. I will need some help from NV5 support to get the remaining licenses back.

30.06.24, 19:45 All nodes and workstations are now up with StorNext 7.2, except sothi and sabik, where there is some trouble. Red Hat 9 linux has been upgraded to version 7.3. We have trouble with the IDL license server after reinstalling alruba2 with Red Hat 9, so IDL is not working at the moment. We will have to contact NV5 support for help tomorrow morning.

30.06.24, 11:10 We ran into some major problems with the upgrade of the StorNext gateway servers yesterday. A team from Quantum engineering found the problem and solved it overnight (we are the first site worldwide to do the StorNext 7.2 upgrade).

29.06.24, 18:40 Good progress on the upgrades. Quantum is working some issues on the StorNext gateway servers.

28.06.24, 22:00 Good progress today. A bit ahead of schedule.

27.06.24, 17:00 Starting shutdown
