Downtime on xsan and stornext disks March 1. and 2.

We will do maintenance and preparations for extensions in the StorNext/Xsan storage system on Saturday March 1. and Sunday March 2.

Everyone with home directory on /mn/xsan/u1 or /mn/stornext/u2 (i.e. most users at the institute) will have to be logged out and all processes accessing the /mn/xsan/ or /mn/stornext/ disks must be stopped.

All machines with FibreChannel or Infiniband connections will be shut down. These are:
    - Mac OS-X workstations
    - The following linux machines: mimosa, proxima, electra and karbana, owl1-owl16 , nekkar, achernar, papsukal and aramec

On all other machines, the xsan and stornext disks will be unmounted and processes accessing these will be killed.

This is the third step in the process, and there will be at least one more scheduled downtime later.
