19:25 The most important of the two switches did not come up after the upgrade. One of the network guys are on his way. Will take longer than the planned 45 minutes.

USIT needs downtime on two of our central switches in Svein Rosselands house to update software. The downtime will be:
Wednesday February 8. from 19.00.
The downtime is expected to be about 45 minutes.
All network connections in the building, including WiFi, will be down.
Compute nodes and servers in our server room in Helga Engs house will not be affected.
So, all workstation-, WiFi and laptop network will be down. Workstations will remain up and will work as normal when the network is back.
From outside you will be able to reach login.astro.uio.no and compute nodes, but not anything that is located in Svein Rosselands house.
