Stornext maintenance

There will be downtime on the following machines:

All Mac Pro's, owl1-owl28, enir, algol, shaula, karbana, electra, electra2, charybdis1-3, mimosa, proxima, tsih (login.astro.uio.no), achernar, nekkar, aramec, papsukal.

We start shutdown Friday April 29. after 17.00. All other machines will be up, but be aware that:

• There will be periods of hangs on Saturday as we upgrade the NFS server.
• We may need to reboot machines, even if they are not listed above.
• You should not access disks listed below from Friday at 17.00 and until the status column shows "Ready". If you do, you may loose data.
• Some data will move to new locations (see table below) and there will be more space available when the work is done.

We expect to finish the work by Saturday evening.

Only for people working on La Palma data:

We assume that /mn/stornext/d11/lapalma/nobackup and /mn/stornext/d10/lapalma/nobackup has not changed since it was copied the last couple of weeks. (Data from the current SST campaign is copied directly to /mn/stornext/d4/nobackup/2016). You should not transfer data from La Palma to Oslo from Saturday morning until d4 is marked as ready below.

/mn/stornext/d7 is empty after the move. It will come back a bit later.
