Xsan/Stornext data move

We continue the work on the xsan/stornext system this weekend (25/9-27/9) and need some more downtime. All users with home directories om /mn/xsan/u1 or /mn/stornext/u2 must be logged out. Please log out before you leave for the weekend. All other xsan and stornext disks will be unavailable and processes accessing xsan or stornext storage will be killed. I will start shutting down the system Friday (25/9) from 19.00.

This time we move lapalma data and home directories.

After the move all homedirectories currently on /mn/xsan/u1 and /mn/stornext/u2 will be on /mn/stornext/u3

All systems will be up again by Sunday evening, possibly earlier. I will send out a mail when I am done.

Only for people working on La Palma data:

We assume that /mn/stornext/d4/nobackup has not changed since it was copied a couple of weeks ago.

(Data from the current SST campaign is copied directly to /mn/stornext/d11/lapalma/nobackup/2015_tmp)

A last sync of /mn/stornext/d4/reduc was started today, except /mn/stornext/d4/reduc/2015 which will get a final sync on Friday after shutdown.
