Margrethe Wold: "The nuclear regions and black hole mass of NGC 7582 as seen in the mid-infrared."

Abstract.

I will present a high-resolution [NeII]12.8 micron spectrum and a [NeII] narrow-band image of the central kpc of NGC 7582. The data show the structure and the rotation of the circum-nuclear star forming disk at a diffraction limited resolution of 0.4 arcsec (43 pc), allowing us to probe the dynamics and rotation of the gas close to the black hole. I will also discuss two dense, embedded star clusters found in the disk close to the nucleus.
