Abstract
Our model for light has changed dramatically during the last 400 years, and there are good reasons to ask if time is ripe to reconsider the wave-particle duality model we have used the last 90 years or so. Which driving forces play a crucial role when we consider the usefulnes of our models? Which light-phenomena is in my opinion described in an unsatisfactorily way today? Does it actually matter what kind of model we have, given that we can describe the observations with the current model anyway? I would like to discuss these matters and I am open for feedback from the audience.
