Fredagskollokvium: The Present Future

We are leaving an epoch of significant changes driven by the development of technology and science. This is not new, 
but now these changes are happening at a pace that makes the future we imagined yesterday already existing today. 
I will review some of the latest breakthroughs, especially in the fields of aerospace engineering and artificial intelligence, 
and the impact of these on the future of humankind. Finally, I will discuss what should be done to avoid a bad ending and 
whether we are ready to accomplish such an enormous task.
