The UNESCO-report on the role of universities and higher education institutions for promoting the agenda 2030 and the UN sustainability goals was officially presented on the large UNESCO World Higher Education Conference (WHEC) in Barcelona (18-20 May 2022). CBA-head Dag O. Hessen presents the report with co-chair Sylvia Schmelkes.
This report constitutes a call for universities and HEIs to use the knowledge they produce and the education of new professionals they carry out, to help solve some of the world´s greatest problems, as covered in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
