CBA teaches biogeochemistry

CBA researchers are involved in teaching many courses at the University of Oslo, and now the fall semester has started with new students.

Geology professor Helge Hellevang teaching a group of students in the biogeochemistry course. This lecture focused on weathering of rocks and the development of soils.

Teaching is important for CBA, and the fall semester has just started at the University of Oslo. Courses are running with a combination of physical lectures and distance learning, as well as some field work.

CBA researchers teach many courses, and a special focus is given to the course in biogeochemistry, attended by students in all three disciplines. The aim of the course is the couplings between biological, geological and chemical processes, on the interactions between climate and the environment, and human impacts on these processes. We are happy to see that the course is popular among the students!
