After having been a professor at the University of Oslo for many years and vital for establishing the Centre for Biogeochemistry in the Anthropocene, Rolf D. Vogt has moved on to a new position as a head researcher at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA). Everyone at the centre are very grateful for all the work that Rolf has contributed over the last years.

As Rolf has been part of the CBA leader group, a replacement was needed. The leader group is responsible for the day to day running of the centre together with centre coordinator Lene Liebe Delsett, and is made up of one representative from biology, one from geosciences and one from chemistry. CBA is lucky that environmental sciences professor Armin Wisthaler has agreed to join the leader group to replace Rolf D. Vogt.

We warmly welcome Armin and wish Rolf the best of luck in his new job!
