Class@Baikal - Floating University in Russian news

The expedition in the international scientific educational programme Class@Baikal / Floating University was finished successfully the 10th of July. The class got attention from the Russian Television, also with short interview with CEEDs Adriano Mazzini, leader of the Norwegian effort in the expedition and the HOTMUD project.

This year the Class@Baikal was helt from 25th to 10th of July, Russia, at the lake Baikal. The expedition give researchers and students in marine geology and geophysics training through active research.

Lake Baikal is an ancient, massive lake in the mountainous Russian region of Siberia, north of the Mongolian border, and is one of the deepest lakes on Earth.

The expedition is now finished successfully. The work and stay in the camp by the research team is documented on a website with daily blogs and pictures about the whole expedition.
