I am a PhD student at the Marche Polytechnic University (Ancona, Italy). My main project aims to investigate the dynamics of both neutral and non-neutral genetic variability of two invasive fish species: the Lionfish and the Rabbitfish during their colonisation of the Mediterranean Sea.
My research interests concern the study of evolutionary processes of non-model species, with a particular interest in simulation models to infer historical population dynamics and predict future scenarios.
I will be a visiting researcher for the next three months at the Archaeogenomics group to have the opportunity to work with ancient DNA data.
