Master students

PolliClim has actively seeked to attract master students to work on research topics relevant for the project.

On Friday September 5th Dr. Nielsen, Trond Reitan, Anne Brysting and Katrine Borgå had a meeting with five master students interested in working with different aspects of pollination ecology. Julie Paus-Knudsen (Katrine Borgå as co-supervisor) will work on pesticides and toxins in honeybees and other pollinators and Andreas W. Rinvoll (Anne Brysting as co-supervisor) will work on interactions between crops and wild flowers in attracting pollinators. Both master projects will use the already established field sites in raspberry farms.

Hannah Haga (landscape ecology, vegetation mapping), Helge Lone (economy) and Mari Bø (plant-plant interactions for pollinators) will start on their master projects in spring 2015.
