Causes and extent of declines in Fennoscandian bird populations
Many arctic and subarctic bird populations are undergoing drastic declines. In this project, we will investigate the causes and extent of such declines by analyzing citizen science data on bird observations from Fennoscandia, alongside spatially explicit data on changes in climate and habitats. We also aim to make use of passive bioacoustic monitoring for more detailed studies.
