Having lots of ideas is one thing, organizing, prioritizing and ultimately, protecting them, is something else entirely! In this workshop, you will learn how to generate, organize and rate your ideas with the longer term goal to protect them using one or more patents. As a hands on exercise, we will try out the "atomized IP approach" on a specific case. You will be working in groups to come up with solutions to a given problem, then present your results – and how to protect your ideas – to the class.

12:00-13:00 - Lunch (please bring your own, we will serve some cake)

Grant writing
Anders Malthe-Sørenssen, Professor and Programme leader CompSci, Department of Physics, UiO
