Every year, the Mathematics-Natural Sciences Student Committee (MNSU) nominates the best lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. In 2021, the choice fell on Professor Marianne Fyhn at the Department of Life Sciences.
The arguments that the students have emphasized were that she is a "knowledgeable and engaging lecturer who really awakes the students' interest in the subject". According to the students, she gets everything explained well, at the same time as there is room for questions.
