Research interest

Analysis and numerical methods for partial differential equations (PDEs), in particular nonlinear hyperbolic conservation laws. Machine learning for fluid flow problems. PDEs with irregular data. Stochastic PDEs.

Short bio

I got my BSc. and MSc. degrees from the Department of Mathematics, University of Oslo. I then moved to Switzerland, finishing my PhD at the Seminar for Applied Mathematics at ETH Zürich in 2013.

I then moved to Trondheim, Norway and NTNU, first for a postdoc and then for an associate professorship, before taking up my current position at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oslo.
