MSc Inger Lise Nerland Bråte at the Department of Biosciences will give a trial lecture on the given topic: Nanotoxicology: Impacts of engineered nanomaterials on aquatic biota

Doctoral candidate MSc Roza Berhanu Lemma at Department of Biosciences will give a trial lecture on the given topic: Epitranscriptomics - gene regulation through RNA modifications.

Dr. Stephan Ossowski, Group Leader at the Institute for Medical Genetics and Applied Genomics, University of Tübingen, Germany, will present the lecture "Computational Analysis of NGS Data for Clinical Diagnostics."

Late Lunch Talk by Chloé Nater, CEES (UiO) 

Atmospheric and climate sciences have a stronghold in Oslo among the four institutions University of Oslo, the Meteorological Institute, CICERO and NILU. This joint seminar invites renowned international experts to contribute to an informal series of lectures, meant to create interaction with the Oslo atmospheric and climate science community on recent highlights and analysis in the field. All seminars will be held on Thursdays (Noon -1pm) and lunch (sandwiches) will be served on a “first-come-first-served”-basis.

Critical and constructive discussion of modelling approaches is accordingly of key importance. We will therefore also this year arrange a workshop where this is in focus.
