CANCELLED: Well-being in academia

In both your study and working life, curiosity is absolutely crucial for learning, mastery and culture building. No one can expect anyone to be able to do well without being able to ask questions. An environment where there is a culture of showing curiosity - both to the work and the people behind it - will promote dialogue and build stronger relationships which in turn contribute to increased well-being and better mental health.

The panel talk will be given in Norwegian.

In this sofa talk, we will address the academics aspects of these topics through a dialogue with a student, researchers and leaders - by being curious and listening to those around us.

The panel consists of

  • Ago Mrsa, Master of Science from the MN Faculty
  • Marianne Inez Lien, academic librarian, Humanities and Social Sciences Library
  • Hugo de Boer, professor, Natural History Museum
  • Sunniva Siem, professor, Department of Physics
  • Knut Martin Mørken, vice dean of studies and education
