The Career Control for Researchers (CC4R) is an online programme delivered by career development specialist PostdocTraining. It provides training in skills and tools that you can apply immediately in your daily work.
Duration: 8. October - 29. November 2024.
The CC4R is offered free of charge to all PhD candidates on the MN Faculty PhD programme.

The programme provides you with
- a better understanding of your career opportunities
- tools to develop your career path and perform strategic career choices
- help to create a career plan that aligns with your strengths and personal preferences
- motivation, information and tools to take charge of your own career, whether you don't yet know your preferred path or you already have a goal and are looking for the best way to reach it
You get
- 4 online modules spaced over 8 weeks, in text and
audio formats (1½-2 hours each to complete) (green) - 2 live Q&A sessions (blue; facilitated by PostdocTraining)
- 1 additional final live webinar for all participants on
transferrable skills, (green; led by PostdocTraining) - open-ended access to all course material, webinar recordings and the Masterlist
Optional services
- buddy matching (for career discussions during the program)
- career options masterlist, a database of PhD career path case-studies
- access to a LinkedIn career development forum (moderated by PostdocTraining)
