Bridging the gap between science and stakeholders

In this workshop we will explore how to make your research available to stakeholders, e.g. policymakers, industry, businesses, or organisations. An important part of this process is to identify who these stakeholders may be, and how to reach out to them to get your research noticed, understood and used in an ethical way.

What will I learn?

During this workshop you will hear from a fellow scientist about how their research group initiate and carry out a dialogue with stakeholders and how they consider the impact their work can have on society.

You will identify which stakeholders are potential partners and identify if your research can have particular impact on society directly or indirectly.

You will have insightful discussions with your peers about your research and the pros and cons of disseminating your research results to stakeholders.
