How to approach your future employer

This session will focus on how you can present yourself and your competencies to the employers you will meet at the career fair. You will gain insight to how employers think, and why they attend at UiO. You will also get some tips on how to use LinkedIn as a tool and what you can do to get the most of the day.

  • Target group: PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows and researchers interested in growing their professional networks and discovering careers outside of academia.

Gisle Hellsten is working at UiO with career cervices towards masters – and bachelor students. For more than 15 years, he was Head of Career Services at UiO. Gisle Hellsten is often being used as a career expert in media.   Gisle Hellsten has a Master’s degree in political science and a masters of Arts for Griffith University, Australia.
