UiO has developed a solution for downloading old Techsmith Relay recordings that are linked on a website (for example from Vortex, timetable or Canvas). Follow the instructions in the link. After following the tutorial above, you will end up with the files on your local machine.
To save and publish old Techsmith footage online:
- Go to the right semester page and log in:
In the breadcrumb trail, the semester folder will appear. Click it:
Create a new folder named "Other Videos" and save the old Techsmith footage here. In this folder you can also add other types of course videos that are not lecture recordings (eg various video clips you have made at home).
Create links to the folder and the old Techsmith recordings / video clips wherever you want, e.g. in your Canvas room.
