Job responsibility

  • Responsible for managing the Oslo Imaging and Therapy Laboratory (OITL - Radiopharmacy / PET-SPECT-CT imaging / image analysis facility)
  • Ensuring OITL complying with all regulatory controls
  • Managing OITL facility delivering a end-to-end solution in design, development, production and evaluation of tracers for preclinical research for radiopharmaceutical industry and academicians

  • Carrying out imaging studies for various disease models (cancer, cardiovascular, neurological, etc.) and drug discovery.
  • Provides technical support on study design, implementing imaging studies, and data processing.
  • Responsible for data safety, training, archiving imaging data, maintenance and quality control for state-of-the-art imaging instrument (PET-SPECT-CT) at OITL.
  • Perform biodistribution studies and metabolites analysis in vivo and ex vivo
  • Develop new concepts and ideas to extend the research potential of the OITL
  • Manage cross-functional projects and external collaborations. Drive the project decision-making process, conceptualize and drive research projects to completion
  • Promote the OITL locally, nationally and internationally. Disseminate advance knowledge in the specialist area. Represent the OITL at external meetings/seminars and liaise with sponsors and stakeholders.
