UiO Life:Science summer student 2021

Nora Haukeland, a 2nd year biology student from Department of Biosciences, has had a 6 week summer internship in our lab. The internship was sponsored by UiO Life:Sciences. Nora was supervised in the lab by our PhD student MSc Verena Mertes. Nora worked mainly with constructing mutants in the fish pathogen Yersinia ruckeri by the use of recombinant DNA technology.
