Kateřina Nezvalová-Henriksen (first author) and other researchers of the PharmaSafe groupi under direction of Hedvig M.E. Nordeng have published a new study in "The International Journal of Epidemiology". The study with the title "Effect of prenatal selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) exposure on birthweight and gestational age: a sibling-controlled cohort study" focuses on selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) and their effect on birth weight and gestational age. Interestingly, the study shows that exposure to SSRI during pregnancy may reduce both birth weight and gestational age.
