Anders Huitfeldt conducts research on methodological issues in clinical trials and pharmacoepidemiology. In Huitfeldt et al (Epidemiologic Methods, 2018), he proposes a new class of counterfactual causal models that can be used for reasoning about choice of effect parameter and external validity. Anders holds a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a doctoral degree in epidemiology from Harvard University, and is currently pursuing a degree in philosophy of science at LSE.
