Below Elin presents her background and her PhD project.

I newly finished my master degree in Pharmacy from the University of Oslo. In my master thesis I did a literature search to identify factors that have a positive effect in non- pharmacological interventions carried by health professionals among pregnant women in primary care. I also conducted a pilot study of the intervention in SafeStart.

In my PhD project I will continue to work with the SafeStart project, and study whether a face-to-face intervention in community services early in pregnancy can promote proper drug use and increase quality of life and better health in pregnancy.

I am very exited and looking forward to be a part of PharmaSafe.
