I'm a PhD candidate in Infectious disease epidemiology and modelling from University Medical Centre Utrecht, The Netherlands. I completed my Master's in Health sciences with specializations in International Public Health and Infectious Disease. Before, I worked for multiple years as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in multi-cultural neighborhoods in Amsterdam.

I am very excited to be here and thankful to be granted the International Alliance for PharmacoGenetic Epidemiology Excellence (iAPOGEE) visiting scholarship. I will be staying in Oslo until Christmas. During my stay, I will describe the COVID-19 disease burden in the Norwegian population over time. We aim to use the collected data for future modelling exercises to assess vaccination campaigns to decrease the disease burden in the high-risk population. This project is part of the work related to the 'SARS-CoV2 variants Evaluation in pRegnancy and paeDIatrics' (VERDI) consortium.

I am looking forward to collaborating with the experts within the research group.
