Im a researcher in biostatistics with a background in pure mathematics. I completed my PhD at NTNU under the supervision of Kristian Seip and went on to do a postdoc at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn. My mathematical research interests lie at the interplay between functional analysis, probability and number theory with a focus on how techniques from the former two can be applied to the latter.

I have always been interested in biostatistics and have since switched my focus to this field. I am particularly fond of the fields of public health and epidemiology with an interest in applying statistical methods to identify pre-existing patterns and correlations in heterogenous data sets.

I feel greatly privileged to join PharmaSafe at UiO, taking part in the Nordic COHERENCE project funded by Nordforsk to evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations. I look forward to collaborating with the experts within the research group.
