I’m a researcher in epidemiology and a paediatrician. After my specialisation in paediatrics in Paris, I defended a PhD in epidemiology in Inserm’s EARoH team from the Centre of Research in Epidemiology and StatisticS (CRESS), under the supervision of Dr Barbara Heude. The subject of my PhD was the associations of early postnatal growth with blood pressure at age 5 years as well as with early neurodevelopment in the EDEN and ELFE mother-child cohorts.

I pursued with a postdoc in pharmacoepidemiology at EPI-PHARE team from the French National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products, and EPOPé, a research unit from the French health research institute (CRESS) specialised in obstetric, perinatal and paediatric epidemiology, in Paris. During this postdoc, I worked with Pr Chalumeau and Pr Zureik, and investigated paediatric outpatient prescriptions in France over the last 10 years and conducted a systematic review on paediatric outpatient prescriptions in countries with advanced economies. Then, as an epidemiologist at EPI-PHARE, my work involved studying trends of outpatient prescriptions for pregnant women at the national level to prioritise future studies on drug safety during pregnancy.

I have always been interested in paediatric and perinatal pharmaco-epidemiology and I would like to improve my knowledge and skills in this field. Thus, I feel greatly privileged to join PharmaSafe at UiO, taking part in the IMI concePTION project to assess migraine drug utilisation during pregnancy. I look forward to collaborating with the experts within the research group.
