Hedvig Nordeng, Anne Gerd Granås, Ingunn Björnsdottir, and Elisabeth Pedersen attended the 10th Nordic Social Pharmacy Conference in Tromsø on June 7-9, 2023. Angela Lupattelli contributed to the conference by giving a master-class in quantitative methods. Elisabeth Pedersen gave an oral presentation about the study “Medication Use in Children before and after the Start of the COVID‐19 Pandemic: an Interrupted Time Series Analysis in Three European Countries” and Ingunn Björnsdottir presented a poster titled “Athletes’ Use of Pharmaceuticals and Dietary Supplements: Mapping in Order to Understand Better”.
The theme of the conference was “Pharmacist services of tomorrow” and included several interesting keynote topics such as human factors and other methods to improve medication safety in pharmacies, AI and big data, and pharmaceutical care services for indigenous people, in addition to exciting oral presentations, poster presentations and workshops.
