I completed my Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology at The George Washington University in 2021. During my MPH, I became particularly interested in complex data analysis, novel research methods, and maternal and childhood health (MCH). My thesis used a cross-sectional analysis of children aged 2-15 years in the United States between 2015 and 2018. The study investigated the association between physical activity, sedentary behavior, and obesity using the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data.

As an MCH epidemiologist at the Washington State Department of Health, I have had the opportunity to examine the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring data to analyze prenatal exposures including parents with drug use during pregnancy.

I will begin my role as a PhD Research Fellow in pharmacoepidemiology under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Angela Lupattelli. I look forward to this opportunity and to continuing my research in PharmaSafe.
