I am a PhD student from the research unit OPEN, the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark. I have a Master Degree in Health Science from Aarhus University in Denmark and a background as a registered nurse. Before my enrollment in the PhD school, I worked for 15 years in clinical settings as a cardiology nurse, which included a job in a cardiac rehabilitation project and in a thrombosis center directed at supporting patients in their treatments. The clinical experience made me interested in medication safety within healthcare.

Now I am in the third year of my PhD-study. I am interested in methods of analysis of incident reporting systems and working on a project investigating medication errors reported to the patient safety incident reporting system in Denmark, the Danish Patient Safety Database.
