I am excited to join the PharmaSafe team as the new Rådgiver/Research Coordinator. Though I am originally from Montana in the United States, I recently earned my Master’s in health economics, policy, and management from the University of Oslo, where I specialized in economic evaluation.
I have always had a strong interest in the research process and worked as a research assistant during my bachelor’s. During my time at UiO, I developed a particular interest in research on pharmaceutical regulation and the introduction process, as well as public health decision-making. My master thesis entailed an exploratory modeling study on melanoma of the skin, where I developed a state-transition model in order to compare various hypotheses as to why there is an observed increase in incidence rate while mortality rates remain stable. In addition to my research background, I bring administrative experience from my time in the admissions offices of two U.S. universities.
In my free time, I love being outdoors and singing in an international women’s choir, as well as traveling to new places abroad. I am looking forward to contributing to the PharmaSafe research group and collaborating with each of its members!
