Angela contributed to the conference by an oral presentation on “Prenatal exposure to antidepressants and longer-term risk of depressive and anxiety outcomes in children”. Fatima presented a poster and won the best poster award.

The theme of the conference was “Perinatal and infant mental health in Nordic countries” and included several interesting keynote topics such as severe mental disorders, familial risk of postpartum psychosis, prenatal screening for postpartum depression, and the long-term impact of prenatal exposure to antidepressants on children's risk of depressive and anxiety outcomes, in addition to exciting oral presentations such an inspirational lecture on research and clinical priorities in a changing world: personal perspectives by John Cox, poster presentations and workshops.

“It was a delightful change to attend an in-person conference after a long time. Over the course of two days, I engaged in insightful presentations covering a range of topics of perinatal mental health and the way forward. I think, the diverse and informative sessions made the conference an enjoyable and enriching opportunity for learning. I participated by presenting a poster, and I'm delighted to share that our poster received recognition and won an award.”
