Funded by iAPOGEE, a group of PharmaSafers led by Prof. Hedvig Nordeng attended the 11th Bordeaux PharmacoEpi Festival on May 24-26, 2023. As one of the world-class invited speakers, Prof. Nordeng gave a lecture entitled 'European Initiative to Improve Knowledge about Medication Safety in Pregnancy and Lactation' on the first day. Lectures also covered trending topics such as case validation, big data & artificial intelligence, emergency response, health technology assessment (HTA), as well as on pandemic and social networks within pharmacoepidemiology. The group also convened for three half-day internal workshops on COVID-relevant topics, neurodevelopmental and non-live outcomes, and common data models for pregnancy studies. We concluded our event with a half-day team-building activity in Arcachon.
