The app MinSafeStart is a patient-centered decision tool that women can use to track their pregnancy-related nausea and to receive advise. How can an app that provides advice on lifestyle, nutrition, and medications contribute to an increased understanding of and improved control over a pregnant woman's own symptoms of nausea? This is the main question addressed by PharmaSafe’s freshly minted PhD Elin Thuy Phuong Ngo in a webinar hosted by the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research.
The presentation was based on a research article published in JMIR Mhealth Uhealth. The article is included in Elin's Ph.D. thesis Novel interventions for pregnant women: Pharmacist consultations and mobile applications in pregnancy - with focus on the management of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. A recording of the presentation (in Norwegian) is available here.
