And that's a wrap for Master's Students for the 2023-2024 Academic Year!

This month, 14 internal master students completed their Master's in Pharmacy with our research group. Read more about their projects and accomplishments below:

PharmaSafe celebrates the remarkable achievements of our master students who have successfully completed their projects within our research group in June. Their dedication and hard work have yielded valuable insights in various areas of medication use, safety, and patient care. Here's a glimpse of their impactful projects:

Danijela Savovic and Maymuna Aba Yusuf explored the potential of adjunctive treatments such as antipsychotics, vitamin D, or omega-3 to enhance the effectiveness of antidepressants in pregnant women with depression and anxiety, under the guidance of Main Supervisor Angela Lupattelli.

Muhammad Bilal Arshad delved into the transition from paper-based to electronic multidose medication administration, with Main Supervisor Anne Gerd Granås overseeing the project.

Badra Mohamed and Jenny Nguyen examined medication adherence in pregnancy through a multinational investigation, guided by Main Supervisor Hedvig Nordeng.

Emilie Bredal Eriksen focused on pharmacovigilance procedures related to the use of medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding, under the mentorship of Main Supervisor Hedvig Nordeng.

Muhammad Farooq and Milos Vasilov conducted systematic reviews on the safety of antibiotic and antidepressant use during pregnancy, with Main Supervisor Nhung Trinh providing guidance.

Synne Strand and Nadia Alhaidari conducted a qualitative study on the culture of medication use in selected sports, under the mentorship of Main Supervisor Ingunn Björnsdottir.

Marija Andric, Jelena Stojanovic, Aisha Adam Mahmoud, and Houda Ossi undertook innovative projects related to medication adherence and prevention of medication errors, supervised by Main Supervisor Anne Gerd Granås.

Each of these projects contributes to the advancement of medication safety, adherence, and patient care, reflecting the dedication and expertise of our master students.
