Oromucosal film preparations for pharmaceutical use

Maren Preis received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf in 2014 with the thesis entitled ”Oromucosal film preparations for pharmaceutical use - formulation development and analytical characterization”. During her PhD she worked in the research group with focus on pediatric and geriatric drug delivery under the supervision of Professor Jörg Breitkreutz. Currently, she is post doc in the Sandler’s group at Åbo Akademi University, Finland, working on printing technologies. Further research interests are taste-masking of orodispersible dosage forms, electronic taste sensing tools, and 3D-printing. Maren Preis also has experience with development of oromuscosal films from the company Sapiotec GmbH, Germany.
