Laxa-Cassia

Against constipation.

This remedy is made the leaves of Cassia italica.

The bag contains 10 smaller bags with 5g of dried and powdered material. One bag is boiled with 0,5L of water for 10 minutes and the filtrate is drunken after the evening meal.

C. italica contain anthraquinones, substances known to have laxative properties. Its effect has been shown in in vivo animal studies. Frequent and long term use of this product can lead to serious weakening of the intestinal canal, and it can also lead to dependence of laxatives.
