Academic interests & Research
I am interested in data-driven biomedical research which utilizes computational methodologies to achieve progress in real-world applications.
I am fascinated by stem cells and the opportunity to use them as biological treatment for human diseases. I further believe that computational approaches are the future of biomedical research in order to get deeper understanding of the underlying biology. Therefore, I am combining these two in my PhD project titled 'Deep learning-based analysis of stem cell differentiation pathways'.
I am part of the CompSci doctoral programme under the supervision of Dag Kristian Dysthe and Hanne Scholz.
