Abstract.
I will present our recent work on frustrated Heisenberg magnets on the pyrochlore lattice. First, I will give an introduction to frustrated magnets and spin liquids. In particular, the nearest-neighbor Heisenberg model on the pyrochlore lattice is well known to show spin liquid behavior. However, I will show that adding small further-neighbor couplings will destabilize the spin liquid and induce a new kind of spin order which we refer to as sublattice pairing.
