Abstract.
In this talk, we will consider cosmological, astrophysical, and laboratory probes of light, sub-GeV new physics, primarily motivated by the dark matter problem. We shall entertain the possibility that the Standard Model photon itself is the mediator that connects the dark sector with the observable sector and show that such scenario leads to a rich ensuing phenomenology with many observational and experimental probes. Some additional comments on the cosmology of MeV-scale dark matter will also be made.
