Second 4DSpace Numerical Workshop

In the end of September seven master students from Kobe University arrived in Oslo to study the interaction between the rocket and ionospheric plasma together with students from UiO.

In the third week of September we had a successful Second 4DSpace Numerical Workshop. Seven master students from Kobe University arrived in Oslo to study the interaction between the rocket and ionospheric plasma together with students from UiO. The intensive week of lectures and simulations on a supercomputer led to very interesting results and scientific reports.

The workshop has been organized jointly by the University of Oslo and Kobe University, and was the part of the Japan-Norway Partnership Programme. Together 13 students, 5 lecturers, and 2 invited speakers from both Japan and Norway have participated in the Second 4DSpace Numerical Workshop. For more details on this partnership programme and to check other opportunities see the website:  http://www.mn.uio.no/4dspace/education/04_japan-norway.html
